These terms govern your use of henryknows.info ("HenryKnows," "we," "us"). By using the site you agree to them.

The service

HenryKnows provides general information about U.S. international student compliance — an AI question-answering assistant ("Henry"), written guides, a rules calculator, and hosted regulatory text. Everything on the site is general information, not legal advice; the disclaimer is part of these terms.

Accounts

Some features require an account (Google Sign-In or an email verification code). You're responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service.

Cost

• HenryKnows is free to use. There are no paid personal plans, no subscriptions and nothing to cancel.
• Use is subject to a daily cap per account, set high enough that ordinary use never reaches it. It exists to stop automated abuse, and we may adjust it without notice.
• Institutional and bulk access — an API, a team workspace, a custom knowledge base or a dedicated deployment — is arranged separately and governed by whatever agreement covers it, not by these terms.

Acceptable use

• Don't submit other people's personal information — student names, SEVIS IDs, passport numbers. Describe situations generically.
• Don't attempt to disrupt the service, scrape it at scale, or resell access.
• Guides and site content are ours; the hosted Federal Register text is a U.S. government work in the public domain.

Limits of liability

The service is provided "as is." AI-generated answers can contain errors, and regulations change. To the fullest extent permitted by law, HenryKnows is not liable for decisions made in reliance on the service; and because the service is free, our total liability for any claim is limited to USD 100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected in the date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
